“Working in Southlands Ward”

Rounded Rectangle: Constituted

We are a Constituted Un-Incorporated Association who have applied for charity status and are waiting for a positive outcome.

We formed in 2003 due to the poor health and social situation of our community.
Rounded Rectangle: Local people are the driving force

Although we work with large agencies , local people are the driving force of this project.

We want to provide people with the confidence and abilities so that they are able to solve their own needs and be actively involved in addressing them.
Rounded Rectangle: Partnership working

We realise that we can have the greatest effect by working in partnership with other agencies from the statutory, voluntary & business sector.

Our key partners are Adur District Council, Adur, Arun & Worthing teaching Primary Care Trust & West Sussex Social & Caring Services.

Southlanders

Rounded Rectangle: Southlanders focus their efforts in the area bounded by the Upper Shoreham Road to the North,
Middle Road to the South,
Stoney Lane to the East and Hammy Lane to the West.
Rounded Rectangle: Local Residents

We are a group of local residents from the Southlands Ward in the Adur District.

We want to make a real difference in our neighbourhood; improving people’s quality of life and reducing the health inequalities that exist.
